OIL SOCIAL AND CULTURAL ENVIRONMENT

On November 5 th, 2020, within the framework of the conference "Geology, Development and Operation Problems of oil fields and hard-to-recover hydrocarbon reserves transport", the section "Oil Social and Cultural Environment" was held for the first time in English. 7 reports were submitted to the section. Students from Nigeria, Colombia, Gana, Zimbabve and Russia performed their reports with great success.
Students of technical specialties need knowledge not only in exact and natural Sciences, but also knowledge of English, mainly technical English, to communicate with foreign students and future colleagues, especially in connection with the current situation with the pandemic, which puts new requirements for online communication. Students who have spoken at the English section demonstrated both a high level of technical English knowledge and their researchers.
